Next Update: Act I Release or Full Game Release?
Hello everyone!
To jump right into it, lately my motivation for working on Jack has been very low. I don't know if I can explain it well- but basically working on Jack Frost yet not completeing it as soon as I wanted to is very demotivating. The lack of completed projects yet the urge to want to complete something is ever so conflicting that I feel burnt out from him. If I can just complete something then it will give me motivation to work on it more or create something else. HOWEVER, I thought of two solutions to help with that and I want your guys opinion on it.
Choice 1: I create and publish a small game and then continue working on Jack in the background.
Choice 2: I publish Act 1 out of 3 instead of the full game, and release it upon acts so you guys can give me feedback and I can garner more motivation to work on the last two acts.
OR, if none of those sound good.
Choice 3: I publish nothing and take my time completeing Jack and the next update will be the completed game.
Let me know what you guys think :3

I think Option 2 is best! You've built up quite a bit of a fanbase for Jack, so I think the feedback you'll get from an update will have a better chance at creating that feeling of accomplishment, while also giving your fans the opportunity to give constructive feedback (if you want it, of course!)
Ultimately though, it's whatever works best for you and helps you prioritize your mental health and creativity :)
I choose option 1 because when I'm under pressure, I like to shift my focus to something else. This not only helps me clear my mind and recharge my energy and passion, but it also keeps me from getting bored and sparks new ideas. Option 3 could work too, but too much relaxation sometimes reduces my passion and energy. So option 1 is better, as it keeps me in the same field (game development) but lets me explore different ideas.
Agree with the others and what they have said. Option 2.
Honestly Option 2 is good. Its a balanced pick and before anything else as much as i love Jack and this whole world you created around him. You are most important if you need to take time and just regroup do that because its better to have peace of mind then jumbled thoughts. Will be patiently waiting for you and Jack :)
I think option 2 is a good middle ground between you and your fans. Completing in parts will still give you that feeling of accomplishment and you'll also receive feedback that can help with motivation moving forward.
